Hello guys! How are you?
Italy seems to have been hit by white wave! There is fog everywhere! 😯 It seems right exactly when I decided to smooth down my hair! : -x However this white made me think of a recipe that I learned from my mother-in-law.
Have you ever happened to forget buying something at supermarket and while you are already cooing, up the words: “Now how can I? I can’t leave everything to the fire and return to the store”.Well, it happened to me just that! I had forgotten to buy the béchamel sauce. Unfortunately before I bought prepacked béchamel sauce. Seeing me in this situation, as I tried to prepare a lasagna, my boyfriend has seen fit to call his mother and ask for the recipe for the sauce. I will start by saying that my mother-in-law won my heart, I would say even more than her son 😆 , when she cooked a baked pasta without tomato sauce and with this fantastic béchamel sauce. I was able to eat this baked pasta even at breakfast!
Now take a look at the recipe for the béchamel sauce!
Béchamel sauce
-Ingredients-
- 100 g of butter
- 100 g of flour 00
- 1 l of milk
- salt
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Just melted, remove from heat and let cool until no more bubbles to the surface.
Pour the butter in a saucepan more large. Slowly add the flour and mix. Add a pinch of salt and finally slowly add the milk.
Cook the mixture obtained over medium heat for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
When the sauce reaches the desired consistency, remove from heat.
Try it and let me know what you think!
