My vegetable soup

Lately what I want to do is get fit again, but it’s easy to say, it seems to get harder and harder. You start with all the good intentions and then you are invited to parties, birthdays or you discover a new local teases you and all good intentions end.  In addition to regular workouts of my volleyball team, now I enrolled in the gym and sometimes I go to take a swim in the pool. I hope in this way to get some good results. But what I have learned in recent years making followed by a dietitian is not enough to move, but also eat well. However, I’m tired of saying no to carbohydrates and experience of deprivation for months. This is not life, it is a torture! So I decided to remove all junk food from my table and eat only healthier, but eating a bit of everything. Will can I lose a few pounds?

SOUP RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 zucchini
  • 200 g chard
  • 100 g of cooked beans
  • 100 g of cooked chickpeas
  • 2 stalks of celery
  • onion
  • mint
  • basil
  • salt

 

In a saucepan, cook the potatoes in plenty of water, cut into cubes, carrots, cut into slices with a little ‘onion and a pinch of salt for about an hour. Then add the chard after washing and cut into strips transverse to the length of the leaf and celery cut into small pieces. After about 20 minutes add the zucchini, cut into small pieces. After fifteen minutes add mint and basil, chickpeas and beans, which have previously been boiled in another pot and then drained.
