Ricotta croquettes

Today I propose a quick and easy recipe. These croquettes can be a great appetizer or even good for a happy hour with friends. Try it and tell me what you think.  😉 


Ricotta croquettes 


  • 250g of cow ricotta
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 1 pepper (≅ 150 g)
  • 1 tablespoon of flour 00
  • bread crumbs
  • salt
  • oil

Wash and cut the pepper into small pieces.

In a bowl mix the ricotta, eggs, and the pieces of pepper.

Add two pinches of salt, flour and bread crumbs (about a spoon) until the mixture becomes very thick.

Accomplish with the dough balls and roll in the breadcrumbs. It is preferable to put the breadcrumbs on a plate for easier handling.

In a saucepan, pour plenty of oil. As soon as the oil is hot immerse the balls. When they are golden, they will be ready.
